SONGS OF THE TIMES

i like music

Steam Powered Giraffe - I'll Rust With You

  • Album: MK III
  • "The Times": 6/9/2025-
  • long times no songs! i'm not like a diehard SPG fan, i dont care about the lore and most of their songs dont appeal to me. but for whatever reason, i keep coming back to this song. it might just be because its at the top of my playlist so i click it whenever i need a restart. i dont know! but i do like it :) i like humming along to the harmonies its very good for that. just a fun little song to me

femtanyl - WORLDWID3 (feat. zombAe)

  • Album: single
  • "The Times": 8/28/2024-6/9/2025
  • yeah yeah yeah music baby. i've agonized about picking a song for a while (6 months since the last one wow !) thinking it had to have Meaning or be somehow Outstanding, but then i realized fuck it. whatever. its my website. listen to this song i like now okay? ive been really loving seeing every new song from femtanyl, real hit after hit after hit to me. this one is one of my faves.

Crazy Ken Band - ハマのアンバサダー (Ambassador from Hama)

  • Album: GALAXY
  • "The Times": 2/23/2024-8/28/2024
  • this song is just fun. that live version's also great. it's known for being "one of those songs in the like a dragon live action movie, but not one of the ones that was in the game", which is a reductive look at it but has also helped its accessibility? none of the songs off this album that arent associated with yakuza are on like youtube or soundcloud, just platforms like spotify. makes them considerably harder to share and much harder to preserve in case these platforms just decide to get rid of them :/ cant even download the album from spotify because it gives the strangest glitch of downloading a completely different song sometimes. ripping my hair out. maybe i'll just fold and order the cd lol

evaboy - pinoy

  • Album: ...jook 'til i die
  • "The Times": bonus !! so the page isnt as empty :)
  • this song gives me power and energy like no other. "...jook 'til i die" is a really good album all in all. i love the use of voice lines from the game "lifeline" as a framing device. i fucking love albums with framing devices.
